I was a fat kid, no bones about it. I learned early how much harder it is to feel great, inside and out, when my body isn’t in sync with my life goals. I felt left behind, invisible. Health is more than just defined muscles, it’s knowing you can tackle your dreams physically as well as mentally. At thirteen I started working out with weights, and by fifteen I knew I wanted to be a power-lifter. I gobbled every book and magazine on health & fitness I could find. Growing up in St. Louis meant avoiding a lot delicious mid-western food that wasn’t getting me closer to my goals. It also meant I had access to the ADFPA, American Drug Free Power Lifting Association. At sixteen I took Second Place in the Nation!
I’ve worked professionally as a Trainer & Coach at 24hr Fitness and Max Fitness Academy in Sherman Oaks. I designed all the exercise programs, annotated all the photographic training materials, and authored the 100 page manual for trainers for Max Fitness. I’ve been featured in Men’s Exercise magazine for abdominal fitness training exercises. I currently design meal plans and exercise regimes for my private clients, training at various training facilities in the Los Angeles area.
AnyBody can change, become more fit, lean out their muscle tissue from their fat stores. I feel I have a gift for tailoring specific exercise & diet programs to specific body types and lifestyles.
